Should I really be hurting this much?

I was just browsing the personals/profiles on some gay dating websites and saw lines like “Im not Racist but plz dont message if you are Asian or Indian..” and “into anyone not fat or Asian” from more than just a few ads.

After seeing them, I started feeling deeply depressed and disheartened then closed the website.

Question is; am I weird/strange for finding these things hurtful? If you were [insert race] and found racial exclusions, do you think it would affect you too?

You know that you are a decent person and can’t figure out why someone else would rule you out because of something that in many cases you have no control over. It’s completely understandable

It seems to me it is very hard to meet other Christian singles. I am on a christian dating site and have met some really great girls and had a couple good relationships.
